A violent confrontation has ignited in the Zehri area of Khuzdar, where Pakistani armed forces faced off against the Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS), a coalition of Baloch armed groups. BRAS spokesman Baloch Khan reported that dozens of Pakistani soldiers were killed, and six BRAS fighters also perished in the encounter.

The clashes are part of a broader resistance in Balochistan, fueled by continuous military pressure from Pakistan. Despite these challenges, BRAS claims that their movement has grown more structured and is gaining momentum. 'The sacrifice of Zehri's fighters marks a pivotal milestone in our struggle for Baloch national liberation,' a BRAS statement declared, highlighting its revolutionary impact.

Baloch Khan reaffirmed BRAS's dedication to unity among Baloch resistance groups, including the Baloch Liberation Army and the Balochistan Liberation Front. He stressed that the coalition's efforts span beyond military actions to include political and organizational cooperation, maintaining a united front against Pakistani initiatives.

Balochistan continues to draw international attention due to ongoing human rights concerns, exacerbated by military interventions, separatist unrest, and claims of enforced disappearances. Human rights organizations accuse Pakistani authorities of systematic abductions, allegations that Pakistan consistently refutes as civil society decries these acts against students, activists, and locals.
