Tavishi Behal, Deputy Chief of Mission, expressed her awe, stating the voyage rekindled a 5,000-year-old history, further invigorating the community's enthusiasm. Sanjeev Sanyal, a member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council, detailed the project's origins, acknowledging inspirations from both Ajanta paintings and Omani reconstruction techniques. The ambitions were to preserve ancient maritime knowledge through the INSV Kaundinya, which sailed from Gujarat to Oman, echoing ancient trade routes.
