If US impose tariffs on car imports then EU would consider to react: Germany

A spokesman for Germany's government said it was the European Union's view that the U.S.'s car imports were not a national security matter, meaning that security could not be a justification for imposing additional tariffs on cars.

If the U.S. did impose tariffs, spokesman Steffen Seibert added at Monday's regular news conference, the EU's member states would jointly consider how to react.
