Iran's Stern Warning: Escalating Tensions in the Gulf

In a significant escalation of regional tensions, Iran has warned the United States of a 'decisive response' if Washington persists with what Tehran describes as harmful maritime activities in the Gulf. This warning comes in the wake of allegations of blockade and piracy over the strategic Strait of Hormuz, as reported by Iran's state media outlet, Press TV.
The Iranian military's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, responsible for coordinating between the Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, has asserted a heightened state of readiness, vowing to defend national sovereignty and interests. The military headquarters expressed confidence in its capability to challenge any US aggression.
The ongoing US naval operations in the region, including the controversial blockade enforcement at Iranian ports, have further aggravated the situation. US Central Command reports indicate a series of vessel redirections, with US naval forces actively engaging Iranian-flagged ships. Amid rising hostilities, Pakistan's efforts to broker peace talks between the US and Iran have faltered, with diplomatic negotiations collapsing.
