In a significant diplomatic advancement, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in high-stakes talks with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Friday, culminating in landmark agreements aimed at strengthening regional security and energy resilience amidst the volatile West Asian crisis.
During this strategic visit, PM Modi condemned recent hostile actions targeting the UAE, commending the Gulf nation for its measured response in a tense climate involving US and Iranian tensions. According to MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, this visit heralded transformative outcomes.
The centerpiece of these developments is a Strategic Collaboration Agreement between UAE's ADNOC and India's ISPRL, poised to enhance India's energy security and petroleum reserves, crucial given the Strait of Hormuz closures.

On the infrastructural front, leaders approved a 'Ship Repair Cluster' in Gujarat's Vadinar, alongside targeted skill development initiatives to bolster the Indian workforce and advance the 'Make in India' agenda.
Furthermore, the countries committed to creating a supercomputer cluster with a substantial USD 5 billion investment from the UAE, driving India's AI capabilities and augmenting employment and market creation.
As the visit concluded, PM Modi expressed optimism, stating the agreements herald growth and prosperity for the India-UAE partnership.
