Senior officials from the Trump administration announced a newly negotiated agreement with Iran intended to reshape US-Iranian relations through a conditional framework. The agreement, revealed on Monday, ties economic reintegration and sanctions relief to strict nuclear oversight and regional security commitments.

The framework, as described by senior US officials, mandates that Iran's economic opportunities be contingent upon verifiable compliance with its nuclear program. A senior American official said, "We've reached an understanding with Iran, establishing that the more Iran cooperates on nuclear transparency and regional stabilization, the greater its access to the world economy."

Officials also emphasized that the deal includes a plan to restore maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial energy transit route. "Traffic through the Strait is expected to rise immediately," a senior administration figure noted. This accord marks a significant diplomatic effort aimed at ending longstanding regional tensions.
