Chile cuts 2026 GDP growth forecast to 0.7%, sees rebound in 2027

‌Chile's government ​cut its 2026 ‌economic growth forecast to 0.7%, ‌down from ‌1.8% projected in a previous ⁠report, ​Finance ⁠Minister Jorge Quiroz ⁠said on Tuesday.

The ​minister added that ⁠gross domestic ⁠product (GDP) ​is projected to rebound ⁠to 3.3% in ⁠2027.
