Chile lowers 2026 economic growth forecast, lifts inflation outlook

​Chile's government cut ‌its economic growth ​forecast for the year while slightly raising its inflation outlook, according ‌to an official quarterly report released on Tuesday. The government cut its 2026 gross domestic product (GDP) growth projection to ‌0.7% from a previous estimate of 1.8%, while lifting ‌its average annual inflation forecast for the year to 3.8% from 3.6%.
