China commerce minister urges Danone to aid Chinese-EU ties

China's ​commerce ‌minister has urged ​French food and ‌beverage firm Danone Group to play a positive role ‌in the development ‌of the EU and France's economic and trade relations ⁠with ​China, ⁠his ministry said.

At a meeting ⁠with Danone CEO Antoine ​de Saint-Affrique on Monday, Minister ⁠Wang Wentao said he ⁠welcomed ​Danone expanding its investments and research ⁠and development in China, ⁠the ministry ⁠added.
