London stocks flat ahead of key data releases; miners weigh

London's main stock indexes ​were little changed on Tuesday, with losses ​in industrials and mining offsetting gains ‌in energy, ​as investors looked ahead to key economic data releases later in the week.

The blue-chip FTSE 100 index closed 0.06% lower ‌at 10,650.33 points, giving up early session gains, while the midcap FTSE 250 edged 0.05% higher.
