Trump to announce date with Xi Jinping on Thursday

U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to announce a date for a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday afternoon.

Trump is scheduled to meet with China's top trade negotiator, Liu He, at 4:30 p.m. (2030 GMT) at the White House. The relations between USA and China are reportedly strained as China is has used veto for several times to block the efforts of US security council for declaring Pakistan's Masood Azhar a global terrorist. USA has recently moved a fresh proposal in this regard.
