China's yuan-denominated exports to the United States grew 10.6 per cent in March from a year earlier, while imports fell 21 per cent, Customs spokesman Li Kuiwen said on Friday.

The impact on China from trade frictions with the United States was generally controllable, Li said during a news conference held in Beijing, adding that the stable yuan exchange rate was favourable for China's foreign trade in the first quarter.
