Trump denies Pelosi's charge of engaging in cover-up

U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday rejected a charge by Democratic House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi that he engaged in a cover-up. "I don't do cover-ups," Trump said in remarks from the White House Rose Garden, adding that he told Pelosi and Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer, who had gone to the White House for a meeting with him on infrastructure, that he could not hold a meeting under the circumstances.
