Ahead of Blinken meeting, Mexico president says energy policy is a sovereign matter

Energy policy is a matter for individual countries to handle, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said on Friday ahead of a meeting between his government and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

"We are independent... We do not meddle in the affairs of the United States," Lopez Obrador told a regular news conference.
