Man arrested for possessing charas in Kullu

A man travelling in a Delhi-bound private bus was arrested in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh after nearly 650 grams charas was found in his possession, police said Sunday.
Accused Hitesh Singh, a resident of Faridabad in Haryana, was arrested Saturday during a routine check in the Bhuntar police station area in Kullu, they said.
A case has been registered against him under section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, officials said.
