Call for strike by Advocates' Association in Gujarat to protest against transfer of Justice Akil Kureshi

The Gujarat High Court Advocates' Association has given a call for indefinite strike from Friday to protest against the transfer of Justice Akil Kureshi of the Gujarat High Court.
The association, led by its president and senior counsel Yatin Oza, passed a resolution in this regard at a meeting Thursday. "We also resolved to file a petition challenging Kureshi's transfer," Oza said.
The Supreme Court collegium recommended the transfer of Justice Kureshi to Bombay High Court Wednesday.
