Senegal government restores full access to mobile internet

Senegal's government on Tuesday restored access to mobile internet across the country, two days after it was cut in certain areas due to deadly rioting, the Communications Ministry said in a statement.

Access to several social media and messaging platforms had been restricted since Thursday, when the sentencing of opposition politician Ousmane Sonko sparked unrest.
