Ukraine's hard currency deficit stood at under $3 billion this month due to seasonal factors, up from about $2 billion in the summer, a deputy central bank governor said on Monday.
Serhiy Mikolaichuk told an online media briefing the central bank was ready to intervene in the foreign exchange market to meet demand. The central bank has said it will introduce a "managed flexibility" exchange rate from Tuesday.
