U.S. President Joe Biden asked China to weigh in with Iran and urge it to avoid steps that could be seen as provocative in the Middle East, a senior U.S. official told reporters on Wednesday after a four-hour meeting between Biden and China's Xi Jinping.
The official said Chinese officials had engaged in discussions with Iran on regional risks.
