2 brothers going for 'Deepdan' killed in accident in UP's Bijnore

Two brothers were killed after the moped on which they were travelling was hit by an unidentified vehicle in Sherkot area here, police said on Monday. The incident took place on Sunday night when Shyam Singh 45 and his brother Maniram 35 were going for Deepdan at river Ramganga here and their moped was hit by an unidentified vehicle, SHO, Sherkot Dheeraj Singh said.

Both of them died on the spot. Police has sent the bodies for the postmortem. A detailed probe is on in the matter. No arrests have so far been made in this connection.
