Norway agrees new deal on seafood exports to the EU

Norway and the European Union have extended an agreement on market access for Norwegian seafood in the EU, including new quotas for processed salmon, smoked salmon and frozen shrimp, the Norwegian government said on Friday.

There was, however, no agreement to continue duty-free import quotas for mackerel, the Norwegian foreign ministry said.
