Sweden to pause funding for UN Palestinians agency -TT news agency

Sweden will pause funding for the U.N. refugee agency for Palestinians (UNRWA) as several other countries have done over allegations some of its staff were involved in the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel, Swedish news agency TT said on Tuesday.

"The money ... will go instead to other humanitarian organisations," TT quoted Johan Forssell, Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, as saying.
