UN Libya envoy says tendered resignation to UN chief

United Nations Libya envoy Abdoulaye Bathily said on Tuesday that he has tendered his resignation to U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

Bathily was appointed to the role in September 2022. It was not immediately clear when he planned to step down.
