Ukraine Strikes Luhansk with U.S.-Supplied Missiles

The Russian-installed leader in Ukraine's Luhansk region claimed that Ukraine used U.S.-supplied ATACMS missiles to attack the city of Sverdlovsk, injuring eight people. Reuters has not been able to verify this claim independently.

The Russian-installed head of Ukraine's occupied Luhansk region said on Tuesday that Ukraine had attacked it the previous day with ATACMS missiles supplied by the United States, wounding eight people.

Reuters could not independently verify the assertion by Leonid Pasechnik, the Russian-appointed head of the region. He said the attack took place in the city of Sverdlovsk.
