Kremlin Advocates Dialogue Amid Rising Tensions

The Kremlin said on Wednesday that proper dialogue was the way to reduce rising tensions between Russia and the West, but said "the collective West" was refusing to engage in it despite the potential dangers, including in the nuclear sphere.

Commenting on calls by some U.S. lawmakers to allow Ukraine to strike Russia with U.S. weapons, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov described them as "hotheads" who wanted to stoke tensions even more.
