SC Extends AAP's Office Vacate Deadline to August 10

The Supreme Court has extended the deadline for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to vacate its office at Rouse Avenue in Delhi to August 10. Initially ordered to vacate by June 15, this extension follows a request from senior advocate Abhishek Singhvi. The premises are needed for expanding the Delhi High Court's infrastructure.

In a recent development, the Supreme Court has extended the Aam Aadmi Party's deadline to vacate its office at Rouse Avenue until August 10. The decision came on Monday after a hearing involving senior advocate Abhishek Singhvi.

Previously, the court had mandated the party to vacate the premises by June 15, pointing out that the plot had been allotted to the Delhi High Court for expanding its judicial infrastructure.

This Monday's ruling was delivered by a vacation bench consisting of justices Vikran Nath and Sandeep Mehta. The mandate requires the AAP to hand over the building by the new deadline.
