Tragic Blast at Nagpur Factory Claims Five Lives

At least five workers were killed in a deadly explosion at an explosives manufacturing factory near Nagpur. The blast occurred at Chamundi Explosive Pvt Ltd while workers were packing explosives, completely gutting the factory.

A devastating explosion at an explosives manufacturing factory near Nagpur resulted in the deaths of at least five workers on Thursday afternoon, according to police reports.

The tragic incident occurred at Chamundi Explosive Pvt Ltd, situated in Dhamna village under Hingna police station limits, approximately 25 km from Nagpur.

Commenting on the incident, Nagpur police commissioner Ravindra Singhal stated, “At least five persons were killed....the whole factory has been gutted.” The explosion reportedly took place around 1 pm while the workers were engaged in packing explosives.
