Fake Social Media Profile Lures Victim to Fatal Shooting in West Delhi

A woman using a fake social media profile allegedly lured Aman Joon to a Burger King outlet in West Delhi, where he was shot dead by two gang-related shooters. The murder is believed to be part of an ongoing gang war between Neeraj Bawana and Ashok Pradhan.

In a tragic incident that underscores the perilous intersection of technology and crime, a young man, Aman Joon, was shot dead in a Burger King outlet in West Delhi on Tuesday. The woman accompanying him, suspected of using a fake social media handle to befriend Joon, is now a crucial suspect in the case.

According to police, the incident is part of a larger gang rivalry between jailed gangsters Neeraj Bawana and Ashok Pradhan. CCTV footage revealed the woman showing something on her phone to Joon when two shooters opened fire, hitting him with at least 38 bullets in a brazen daylight attack.

Fugitive gangster Himanshu Bhau, currently believed to be in Spain, took responsibility for the killing in a social media post. The woman remains at large as multiple police teams, including the Crime Branch and Special Cell, work to apprehend her and the shooters.
