The curfew, imposed following a clash between groups that left 10 people injured, remains in effect, with internet services suspended until June 22.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has called for peace, as no incidents were reported during the relaxation periods on Wednesday and Thursday.

Authorities permitted shops and establishments to open from 6 am to 12 noon, while ensuring vigilance against public gatherings.

The curfew will remain in place until midnight of June 21, with restrictions eased on Thursday and extended to six hours on Friday.

Six companies of central forces and 40 platoons of the state armed force have been deployed to sensitive areas to maintain order, officials stated.

Since Tuesday, 54 individuals have been detained for either rioting or violating curfew norms.
