Mob Attack Over Land Dispute Claims Elderly Woman's Life

An elderly woman named Kewalpati Devi was killed and six people were injured in a mob attack over a land dispute in Saraimir police station area. An FIR was registered against 13 individuals, including four women, based on a complaint by Virendra Kumar Gautam, the deceased's son.

In a tragic incident stemming from a land dispute, 60-year-old Kewalpati Devi lost her life, and six others sustained serious injuries following a mob attack in the Saraimir police station area, authorities reported on Sunday.

The assault, which occurred on Saturday night, led to an FIR against 13 people, including four women, based on a complaint from the deceased's son, Virendra Kumar Gautam. According to the statement, the aggressors targeted Gautam's home with sticks and iron rods.

Police swiftly responded to the scene, admitted the injured to a hospital, and have since launched a manhunt for the accused. Kewalpati Devi succumbed to her injuries at the hospital on Sunday, and her body has been sent for post-mortem.
