Tamil Nadu Government Overhauls Bureaucracy with New Health Secretary Appointment

The Tamil Nadu government recently executed a significant reshuffle of senior bureaucrats, appointing Supriya Sahu as the new Additional Chief Secretary of Health & Family Welfare. The changes include P Senthil Kumar taking over Environment, Climate Changes, and Forest Department, and Mangat Ram Sharma becoming the Additional Chief Secretary of Public Works Department.

The Tamil Nadu government has undertaken a significant administrative reshuffle, designating Supriya Sahu as the new Additional Chief Secretary of Health & Family Welfare. This decision comes as part of a broader shuffle involving senior bureaucrats aimed at optimizing departmental efficiencies.

In the same vein, P Senthil Kumar will now serve as the Principal Secretary of the Environment, Climate Changes, and Forest Department, while Pradeep Yadav takes on the role of Additional Chief Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department.

Mangat Ram Sharma, who formerly held the position of Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry, has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Public Works Department, according to an official release by Chief Secretary Shiv Das Meena.
