Police Nab Two in Dramatic Mundhapande Abduction Attempt

Police have arrested two suspects involved in a failed abduction attempt in Mundhapande. The suspects opened fire on the family members of two women they tried to abduct. One of the suspects, Mahfooz, was injured and admitted to the hospital. The main accused, Muslim, remains at large.

In a dramatic turn of events, police have arrested two individuals allegedly involved in a brazen abduction attempt in Mundhapande last week. The suspects opened fire on the family members of two women while trying to forcibly take them from their home.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Satpal Antil confirmed the arrests following a high-stakes encounter on Sunday morning. One suspect, Mahfooz, sustained a gunshot wound and is currently receiving medical treatment, while the main accused, identified as Muslim, remains at large.

The incident occurred in the Shivpuri village area, where the assailants fired shots, injuring the homeowners and their son. Police have since intensified their search for the primary suspect, who has a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head. A Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) team has been deployed in the area for security.
