M L Lathar Appointed as Chief Information Commissioner of Rajasthan
Former Rajasthan DGP M L Lathar has been appointed as the new Chief Information Commissioner of Rajasthan. The announcement came from Raj Bhavan on Friday. Additionally, three information commissioners, Suresh Chand Gupta, Mahendra Kumar Parikh, and Tikaram Sharma, were also appointed. Their term is for three years or until they age 65.

In a significant appointment, former Rajasthan DGP M L Lathar has taken the helm as the Chief Information Commissioner of the state. The announcement was made by the Raj Bhavan on Friday.
Governor Kalraj Mishra also appointed three new Information Commissioners: Suresh Chand Gupta, Mahendra Kumar Parikh, and Tikaram Sharma. These positions have been filled following orders issued by the Governor.
The appointees will serve a term of three years from the date of assuming office or until they reach the age of 65, whichever comes first. These decisions are aimed at bolstering the transparency and efficiency of information dissemination in the state.
