PM Modi Urges IAS Trainees to Ensure Social Justice

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday urged trainee IAS officers to provide optimal governance and improve the quality of life for citizens, asserting that 'New India' demands proactiveness rather than a lackadaisical approach.

He stressed the importance of their role in service delivery, stating they can either be speed-breakers or superfast highways. Modi highlighted his government's saturation approach to welfare schemes, aimed at ensuring social justice and preventing discrimination.

Addressing the 2022 batch, Modi encouraged them to become catalytic agents for change, citing programs like 'Lakhpati Didi,' 'Drone Didi,' and 'PM Awas Yojana.' He emphasized that 'Nation First' is his ultimate goal and urged officers to join him in this mission, reminding them to look towards the future rather than dwell on past accolades.
