Speaking after inaugurating INS Towers at the Indian Newspaper Society's secretariat in Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex, Modi conveyed confidence that India will soon become the third-largest economy while discussing the nation's leadership in digital payments.
Modi highlighted the critical role of newspapers in the journey to Viksit Bharat over the next 25 years and urged Indian publications to enhance their global presence. He commended the media for raising awareness about citizens' rights and their potential, citing digital transactions as a testament to India's success.
The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of environmental protection initiatives, such as the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, and lauded the media for initiating national movements like Swachh Bharat and Startup India.
