Owaisi accused the NDA government of failing to control terrorism, calling the incident a sign of administrative incapability.

The Hyderabad MP expressed his strong condemnation of the incident, placing full responsibility on the Modi administration. He referenced Modi's election campaign remarks about combating terrorism and questioned the current state of national security.

Highlighting the spate of terror attacks in the Jammu region since 2021, Owaisi pointed to a lack of effective information-sharing and local engagement. He also questioned Modi's claims regarding decreased terrorism following the abrogation of Article 370 and accused the government of avoiding confrontation with China.
