A Romanian court of appeal has reversed a prior ruling, restricting controversial internet figure Andrew Tate's movement within the European Union while he awaits trial on human trafficking charges.

Andrew Tate, his brother Tristan, and two Romanian women were indicted in mid-2023 for human trafficking, rape, and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women. All parties involved have denied the allegations.

Pending the trial's commencement, Tate and his co-defendants are prohibited from leaving Romania.
