In a shocking discovery, Thai police found the bodies of six individuals at a luxury hotel in downtown Bangkok on Tuesday, sparking suspicions of poisoning.
According to the Thai Foreign Ministry, the deceased were reported to be two Vietnamese Americans and four Vietnamese nationals, though their identities remain undisclosed.
Local media outlet Matichon reported that the bodies were discovered by hotel staff at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel, with five found inside a room and one outside. Investigators, who spoke anonymously, noted the victims were foaming at the mouth, indicating possible poisoning.
Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin visited the scene but offered no additional details to waiting reporters.
