In a chilling discovery, the chief of Thailand's police forensic division announced Wednesday that traces of cyanide were found in the coffees of six individuals who were found dead in a luxury hotel in central Bangkok. The bodies were uncovered on Tuesday at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel in downtown Bangkok.
Upon reviewing the hotel records, officials confirmed that there were no other visitors to the room aside from the deceased, casting a pall of mystery over the tragic incident.
Bangkok police chief, Lt. Gen. Thiti Sangsawang, identified the victims as two Vietnamese Americans and four Vietnamese nationals, comprising three males and three females.
