Tragedy struck in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur district as a woman and her daughter-in-law were electrocuted while working on a farm. The victims, identified as Manbhar Devi (60) and Seema Meena (34), were fatally injured when a wire broke and fell on them Saturday night.

This unfortunate incident triggered more calamity as a hut on the property caught fire due to the electric current, causing a cylinder explosion. Devastated family members and relatives staged a protest demanding compensation for their loss.

Authorities managed to pacify the protesters, and the bodies were subsequently handed over to the grieving family members.
