Army Chief Inspects Security at LOC, Honours Kargil Heroes

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited forward areas along the Line of Control in Kashmir to review security measures against infiltration and terrorism. He commended the troops' professionalism and anticipated emerging security challenges. General Dwivedi also attended the Kargil Vijay Diwas silver jubilee and paid homage to Naik Dilawar Khan.

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi on Thursday inspected forward areas along the Line of Control in Kashmir valley to assess the security situation and preparedness against infiltration and terrorism.

The Chief of Army Staff interacted with commanders and troops on the ground, lauding their professionalism and urging them to stay vigilant against emerging security threats.

General Dwivedi then proceeded to Kargil to participate in the silver jubilee celebrations of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Along with dignitaries, he paid tribute to Naik Dilawar Khan, who was killed in an anti-terror operation in Kupwara.
