Lindsey Graham Hails Ukraine’s Kursk Operation as 'Brilliant'

U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham praised Ukraine's cross-border operation in Russia's Kursk region as 'brilliant' and urged for more U.S. weapons support during a visit to Kyiv. U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham described Ukraine's unexpected cross-border military operation in Russia's Kursk region as 'brilliant' and 'bold' during his visit to Kyiv on Monday. He called on the Biden administration to provide Ukraine with necessary weapons.

Despite Russia's ongoing struggle to counter the Ukrainian offensive seven days after it commenced, Ukraine's top military commander stated that Kyiv now controls approximately 1,000 square kilometers within the Kursk region.

Graham, who was in Kyiv with Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal, told reporters, 'What do I think about Kursk? Bold, brilliant, beautiful. Keep it up.' He emphasized the need for U.S. support, urging the administration to supply the weapons required to secure a Ukrainian victory. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy expressed gratitude for U.S. support and outlined the need for long-range weapons to end the war justly.
