NIA Raids Maoist Member's Kerala Premises, Seizes Incriminating Materials

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday conducted searches at the premises of a CPI (Maoist) member in Kerala, recovering several incriminating digital devices and documents, according to the agency.
The raids were connected to a case involving a conspiracy to wage war against the government by members of the proscribed CPI (Maoist), the agency stated.
The NIA's searches targeted the residence of Konath Muralitharan, also known as Ajith or Murali Kannambali, a former central committee member of CPI (Maoist), located in Ernakulam district. The agency seized various materials from Muralitharan's premises, alleging that he conspired to raise funds and enlist cadres to advance CPI (Maoist)'s activities.
