Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, along with Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports, Smt. Raksha Khadse, engaged with 500 enthusiastic youth volunteers during a special interactive session in New Delhi today. The group, comprising 400 National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers and 100 MY Bharat volunteers from across India, has been invited to the Independence Day ceremony 2024 as honored guests.

Dr. Mandaviya praised the volunteers' vibrant energy and commitment, stating, "Our young volunteers are the true torchbearers of change and progress. Their dedication to nation-building is both inspiring and essential."

He underscored the cultural significance of service, saying, "Service is deeply rooted in our culture. The values of helping one another will support you in overcoming challenges and contributing to a developed India."

Emphasizing the role of youth in national development, Dr. Mandaviya encouraged the volunteers to persist in their service efforts, noting that their contributions are crucial for realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of a developed India by 2047.

Acknowledging the youth’s potential, he added, “The government has created numerous opportunities for youth to excel through initiatives like MUDRA Yojana, Start-Up India, and Khelo India, aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and sports talent.”

Dr. Mandaviya also urged the youth to explore significant New Delhi landmarks, including the National War Memorial and Kartavya Path.

Smt. Raksha Khadse commended the volunteers for their impactful contributions, including their roles in the Meri Mati, Mera Desh campaign, the creation of Amrit Vatika, and various community initiatives such as plantation drives and blood donation camps.

The event featured an engaging dialogue where the ministers shared insights into government initiatives and received valuable feedback from the volunteers. The discussion highlighted the importance of youth involvement in enhancing the MY Bharat portal and strengthening youth-led programs.
