Kerala CM Inaugurates State-Level Adalat to Address Grievances

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the state-level adalat of the Local Self-Government Department (LSGD) at Ernakulam Town Hall. The initiative is part of a 100-day programme aiming to address issues not resolved by local bodies. Minister M B Rajesh will lead the adalat, focusing on various grievances.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday inaugurated the state-level adalat of the Local Self-Government Department as part of the 100-day programme of the Left government, at the Ernakulam Town Hall.

Addressing the gathering, Vijayan highlighted the LSGD's role as a model for the rest of the country, crediting it with numerous positive changes in the state. The Life Mission project, Ardram Mission, and Haritha Keralam Mission are among the initiatives cited as examples of LSGD's stellar performance.

Minister for Local Self-Government M B Rajesh will lead the adalat, which aims to resolve complaints related to building permits, trade licenses, civil registration taxes, and more. Issues that have not been addressed within the designated time frame will be prioritized, including petitions and complaints pending in various committees and offices of the Local Self-Government Department.
