The accused, Varprasad Ratnaraj Katikadla, residing in Morbe, Panvel taluka, allegedly committed the offense on August 7. The woman discovered it only on Thursday and subsequently filed a police complaint. According to the FIR, Katikadla climbed through a duct and recorded a video of the woman bathing in her second-floor residence.

Katikadla has been booked under Section 77 (voyeurism) of the Bharatiya Nayaya Sanhita, stated the station house officer of Panvel taluka police station.
