The accident occurred in the Pandharinath area, prompting law enforcement to file a case against an unidentified lineman and meter reader. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Anand Yadav reported the details on Friday.

Despite the child's precarious situation, the hospital has confirmed that he is now out of danger. Charges were laid under section 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The boy's father, stationed in Khargone district, had allegedly made repeated requests to fix the line, which went unheeded.
