Madhya Pradesh Enhances Security at Mahakaleshwar Temple

Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav announced a dedicated police station for the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to enhance security. The initiative includes deploying 400 home guards and setting up a new police station in the city. Rs 500 crore has been allocated for the upcoming Simhastha festival in 2028.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has revealed plans for a new police station dedicated to the security of the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.

This strategic move is aimed at improving the temple's security arrangements, including the deployment of 400 home guards to address existing issues with private security agencies.

Yadav also announced the establishment of another police station in Ujjain city and a budget allocation of Rs 500 crore for the Simhastha festival set for 2028.
