Om Awadhiya, the father of one of the victims in the May 19 Porsche car crash in Pune's Kalyani Nagar, met with police commissioner Amitesh Kumar on Friday to understand the details of the ongoing investigation.

Awadhiya's son, Anish Awadhiya (24), and his friend were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a speeding Porsche allegedly driven by a drunk minor. Anish, who was on the brink of pursuing a master's degree in computer science in London, lost his life tragically. Om Awadhiya, initially disheartened, now feels hopeful for justice.

The commissioner discussed the appointment of a special public prosecutor and the rejection of the bail pleas of the accused's parents. Awadhiya thanked the authorities and urged for stricter laws to prevent minors from driving under such conditions, reflecting on the devastating consequences of the incident.
