Germany's Steadfast Commitment to Ukraine: 12 IRIS-T SLM Air Defence Systems

Germany remains committed to delivering 12 IRIS-T SLM air defence systems to Ukraine, with four units already supplied and two more expected by year-end. The remaining six will be delivered later. The German air force has also received the first of six IRIS-T systems it ordered.

Germany is unwavering in its commitment to supply Ukraine with 12 IRIS-T SLM air defence systems, according to a source familiar with the matter, reaffirming previous commitments made.

Four units have already been delivered, with an additional two slated for shipment before the year's end. The remaining six will follow at a later date.

In tandem, the German air force has received the first of its own six IRIS-T systems, marking ongoing enhancements to its defense capabilities.
